Hi my name is Xander and I am founder of Xander’s cottage.

I started spinning Yarn in my middle 20’s when people were asking me to knit them items. It had me thinking about making my own yarn! Then I fell down the fiber hole and one thing lead to another and now I own a fiber business!

With everything that is going on in the world, I want to make my shop affordable on all budgets. I believe that every one should be able to craft and enjoy crafting with out breaking a budget. I know how important it is to have an creative outlet that you enjoy doing.

We do know about budgets and hard times. That is why we are famous for are layaways. We can accept Weekly, Bi Weekly and monthly payments that you set up. There are always ways to afford crafting here at the cottage and those are just some ways that we will work with you to achieve your Fiber goals!

DO NOT EVER FEEL BAD for asking for some sort of payment plans on your orders! We are more then happy to Save your Fiber until paid in full!
